1, 2, 5

couldn't sleep last night and was just sitting on the floor and staring at the tv screen and quietly asking why God, what are you trying to tell me?

I prayed for an answer and I prayed for God to give me rest to do well today, which eventually came at 3am (i think)

woke up at 6am and this was what God spoke to me. Galatians 2:5.

We did not give in to them for a moment, so that the truth of the gospel might remain with you. (NIV)

to whom we did not yield submission even for an hour, that the truth of the gospel might continue with you. (NKJV)

and for the rest of the day, the numbers 1, 2, 5 kept appearing even when i was making my calls, during my appointments today..

1Tim 2:5
For there is one God and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus (NIV)

1Cor 2:5
so that your faith might not rest on men's wisdom, but on God's power. (NIV)

1Thess 2:5
You know we never used flattery, nor did we put on a mask to cover up greed—God is our witness. (NIV)

1Peter 2:5
you also, like living stones, are being built into a spiritual house to be a holy priesthood, offering spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God through Jesus Christ. (NIV)

1John 2:5-6
But if anyone obeys his word, God's love is truly made complete in him. This is how we know we are in him: Whoever claims to live in him must walk as Jesus did. (NIV)

These verses spoke to me, to what God wants me to listen to him. God is witness to all I am doing, regardless of how well I can put on a mask to cover up, and I have to obey him in faith coming from God's power and through Jesus Christ who has came before to show us the way, all I have to do is just to follow and do things that are pleasing to God and to fulfill God's will according to his pleasure.

Heavenly Father, thank you for opening my ears and heart to just nudge me through your constant reminders of 1,2,5 today and to continue to grow to love you more and more and to fear you more and more.
