Geography Field Trip

went on a "field trip" for our project for GE1101E and we went around to the various embassies on our target list for some information.

Turns out that overall, asking about embassies is a very sensitive topic as warned by Dr Pow, and we had a large mixture of reactions to our presence there and attempting to find out more information.

From the friendly to the not so friendly, it was an eyeopener experience nonetheless.

Looking forward to seeing how we can get the project done in time!

super tired out.. still want to snooze some more, but my books are all staring at me and nagging away. *studies*

concert

Da Capo 2007 is now over and this post is late by a good 3 weeks. >.< it was a really good concert and a night to remember and i have to thank the ex-co and the rest of the section and everyone in nusws who worked together to make the concert a success. even though the response from the audience is a mixed one, i guess what really matters is that we gave our all in the concert. truth be told, i think the rehearsal playings were a lot better than on concert day itself. the addition of people into the hall really warps our sound a lot. sigh.. didn't help that the recordings are so screwy!

anyway, had a good time after the concert with the section at crystal jade and at haagen daz. i still think that i bumped into something that night though i have no idea what. jinxun, if you read this, i apologize for making you giddy with that drive up the carpark. i'll drive a lot slower the next time. promise.

rants and raves

what's wrong with drivers these days?! or just today.
decided to take clementi road to hit the highway home. before clementi mrt, first up, a harrier posing as a lexus decided to swerve right into the middle lane when i was trying to filter in. i SIGNALLED and he didn't. and i had to swerve away. 20m away, a toyota wish had his front poking out from the left lane. that's so FREAKIN DANGEROUS can?

so never mind... filtering into PIE from clementi, someone (not going to mention make or even the license plate) CUT IN FRONT OF ME ACROSS DOUBLE WHITE LINES. naturally, it was really close so i horned him and guess what? he gave me the finger.

seriously, not my day.

got home and looking forward to relax, and i finally cooled off from the drive home. i turned into a blind corner into the carpark, and ta-da, a lady and her daughter were walking straight smack in the middle of the road. being nice, i highlighted her, and no response, so i horned to inform her that i was going through. her reply: the finger. URGH

just not my day to drive... should have just been late this morning and took the train. sigh

祸不单行

今天真的不是个好日子。
首先，测验没想像的那么难，结果没有把定义背下来，造成了一半的分数化为乌有。=（
其次，在路上，一不留神不小心撞上了别人的车。虽然不是很严重，但是，还是错在于我身上。4年级的学长，对不起！！
最后，去收租金时，不但被玩弄了又一番，不但没收到租金，车子的后望镜给人家撞了一下。

真的是祸不单行。。

puppy along PIE

if anyone can do something, please save the puppy i saw along PIE, in the middle of the highway section, just opposite the bukit batok ave 3 exit.
was so tempted to just stop along the first lane, jump out and save the puppy but puppy walked away happily and i was too far away. =`(
later go back see. hope still there..
